Where can we see you perform? You can find us participating in various events and ceremonies, such as memorial services, parades, and fundraisers, where we perform traditional tunes and marches, helping to preserve the rich traditions of the firefighting profession. Are you accepting new members? We are always eager to accept new members.
Do you need to be a firefighter to become a member? We currently accept first responders including fire, police and EMS.
How do I become a member? Contact our band manager at gbfpdmgr@gmail.com for information or come by a practice at the McKeon AmVets Post 4 Hilltop St Boston on Monday evenings to speak to any of us.
What if I don't have any musical experience? We offer free pipe or drum lessons. If you aren't interested in taking lessons, you can still participate as a member of our honor guard.
Where do you practice? We have world class pipe and drum instructors with us every Monday evening from 1900-2100 at the John P. McKeon AmVets Post 4 Hilltop St Boston
Are you available for hire? We are available for hire for private events, from a full band to a single piper, whatever your needs might be. We do events such as parades, weddings, memorial services, funerals and fundraisers. Please contact our band manager for more information at gbfpdmgr@gmail.com
